This bar presents a captivating chocolate experience with a 70% cocoa content, harmonizing dark chocolate's richness with the unique fruit and berry notes characteristic of Guatemalan cacao. Lachuá cacao is grown in the Alta Verapaz region of Guatemala located approximately five hours north of Guatemala City. The area is made up of Q’eqchi’ Maya families many of who earn their living cultivating diverse crops such as plantain, mango, banana, cardamom, coffee, and cacao. The cacao varietals in the Alta Verapaz region include trinitario, amelonado, forastero, nacional, as well as United Fruit clones. Lachuá cacao is an ultra-premium cacao.
