Orange Dark Chocolate 70%

A simple bar with a ton of flavor: 70% Dark chocolate with candied orange peel. Arcelia starts with fresh oranges. She peels, candies, and crystallizes the orange rind then sprinkles the candied orange peels on top. In the 1800s, this orange tree was taken from Bahia, Brazil to Riverside, California and was renamed the Navel orange. That area of Southern California is now known as Orange County. This bar is part of their BRAZIL BIOMES PROJECT, which highlights ingredients that are Native to Brazil, grow wildly, are endangered, promote environmental preservation, encourage community development, are accessible, and taste great This bar won the Academy of Chocolate 2020 Bronze Award.
